It
is the opinion of Bethany Lutheran Church and its Youth Ministry
program that our young people are not ONLY the church of tomorrow;
in fact, they are the church of today! Ministering, worshipping,
and leading others to faith in Jesus Christ. Below you
will find general explanations of the various high school
youth programs. Use the links on the left to
view current events for high school youth.
An educational opportunity with a twist! Students get a chance
to wrestle
some tough issues and hear from volunteers with real world experience.
Time: Sundays, 9:00 and 10:30am
While
most students get horizontal on the couch for the summer,
students from Bethany press on to make their summer count
for something larger! The congregation supports several trips
each year through a faith share program. Students encounter
Christ on a whole new level while serving those in desperate
need.
Several
times a year the Sr. High ministry has a variety of events.
These include ski trips, paintball, lock-ins, and many other
exciting events to challenge and encourage us.
B.L.A.M. are teenagers who actively and aggressively work
to plan, develop, and improve the Sr. High Youth ministry
here at Bethany. They are the laborers who want to bring in
and minister the Sr. High Youth of the harvest.
Bethany offers several events each year designed for the whole
family. Picnics, concerts, speakers, and even some special
service projects.
