For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in ? (Matthew 25:35)

IFCS is a wonderful outreach program that helps people in the community who are in need. Articles needed by IFCS are identified to the congregation through church programs, signs, and notices in the Beacon. Members of the Bethany congregation bring their donations to the church and then these donations are delivered to IFCS. Items donated consist of non-perishable goods, which may include: canned goods, toiletries, household cleaners, clothes etc. Volunteers deliver these items to the IFCS on a weekly basis from Bethany.

Your gifts make it possible for us to continue meeting the needs of children, families, and senior citizens in the community. Your clothing donations will be used to meet the needs of our clients. Any clothing we are unable to use is sold to a used clothing wholesaler to help fund important programs at IFCS like Village Preschool, senior transportation, youth choir and food bank. Your food donations will help to provide families who are in need with a five-day supply of food. Interfaith Community Services exists to help families, children, seniors and other individuals who are struggling to attain, or maintain, a life-style that is self-sufficient.
