A Volunteer Parish Nurse provides holistic health care of mind, body, and spirit for individuals, families, groups, and the congregation as a whole. The nurses promote comprehensive health care and a connection of spiritual and physical health. Their assertive approach to wellness assumes an accountable role for parish health.
 
The Volunteer Parish Nurses hold wellness education every quarter.  Blood pressure checks are taken weekly at the Senior Center and the second Sunday of the month from 8:45am -10:45am. The group is run entirely by volunteers and meets quarterly. If you are an RN and interested in volunteering, the group would love to hear from you.
