Facilities Team

With the size of our facility, there is a steady stream of maintenance and facility improvement issues for the Facilities Team to address.  This dedicated team meets on the second Tuesday of each month to review the issues, develop plans and make decisions.  The team is headed by Marilyn Metcalfe and includes Gene Commander, Dave Okes, Eric Wilson, Doug Clarke and Morris Hack.  In addition, Tom Brook remains actively involved with Facilities issues as head of the Property Task Force.

The major issues that are currently being addressed by the team include (but are not limited to) repairs to the BECC roof and exterior walls as there continues to be leaking in that area during heavy rain storms.  Other major projects include the development of a maintenance plan for the Sanctuary/narthex roof as well as the Sanctuary heating/cooling system.  Both of these projects will require a significant capital expenditure that must be appropriately planned into the budget and supported by the congregation.
