Hello! My name is Rita Argus, your friendly neighborhood intern. I grew up on a hobby farm in Southeast Wisconsin raising goats and rabbits and attended University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I majored in Biological Systems Engineering. After graduating, I served as a Sustainable Agriculture Extension Agent with Peace Corps in Senegal, West Africa. Upon my return from Senegal, I felt a call to ministry– had a Jonah moment and ran the opposite direction–but soon found myself moving to Columbus, Ohio to start studying at Trinity Lutheran Seminary at Capital University. For fun I love to hike with my dog Jellybean, read sci/fi novels, bake bread, and listen to podcasts.

Peace,
Rita
