United in Faith Campaign 2026 Intention to Give

  • IRA Charitable Gifts

    If you are age 70½ or older, you may be able to make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA to Bethany Lutheran Church. A QCD can satisfy all or part of your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) while potentially reducing your taxable income.


    Qualified Charitable Distributions offer a tax-efficient way to support the ministries and mission of Bethany Lutheran Church. Please consult your financial advisor or tax professional regarding your specific situation.


    When requesting a Qualified Charitable Distribution from your IRA custodian, please ask that your name and any desired gift designation be included in the memo line or accompanying remittance information of the distribution check. This helps Bethany Lutheran Church properly identify, acknowledge, and apply your gift according to your wishes.


  • Gifts of Stock & Securities

    Stocks, mutual funds, ETFs, and other securities can be donated directly to Bethany Lutheran Church. Such gifts may provide significant tax advantages while supporting the ministries and mission of our congregation. In many cases, donors may avoid capital gains taxes on appreciated assets while receiving a charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the gift. Please consult your financial advisor or tax professional regarding your specific situation.


    Before initiating a transfer, please complete our Stock Gift Notification Form so we can properly identify, acknowledge, and designate your gift.

    Brokerage transfers often arrive without donor information. Completing the notification form helps ensure your gift is properly credited and applied according to your wishes.

  • Donor-Advised Funds

    A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) allows individuals and families to make charitable contributions, receive an immediate tax deduction, and recommend grants to organizations such as Bethany Lutheran Church over time.


    DAF grants can be directed to Bethany’s General Fund, United in Faith Capital Campaign, or other designated ministries. Please include your desired gift designation when recommending a grant.

Dear Bethany,


Generosity is a Faith Practice that God models for us. From promises made to Abraham and Sarah, to manna in the wilderness, to crops and flocks, God continues to provide in abundance. And when it comes to sharing the very best, God does not withhold from us, even to giving Jesus to the world.

Through our generosity God invites us into a relationship with God. Making a Commitment can be a solid first step toward a life journey of generosity.

God invites to experience Joy in our giving. Sometimes this happens when we see the results of our giving. And other times the very act of giving brings us joy.


God required Sacrifice so that we would understand the deep impact of giving in a way that truly affects us in our spirit. For it is in our spirit that our relationship with God deepens.


You are invited to complete an Intention of Giving Form for 2026. This allows you to make a commitment, and allows the congregation leadership to more faithfully plan for ministry goals in the coming year. You can do so in the following ways:


  1. Online Form - Fill out the form and tap/click submit. The finance team will enter it into Subsplash on your behalf.
  2. Paper Form - Download the form or pick one up at the church. Completed forms can be mailed into the church office, emailed to the Finance Team, or dropped off.
  3. Subsplash - Enter your yearly amount and tap/click "Create Pledge". There is also an option to setup a recurring gift if you haven't already done so.


Please complete the Intention of Giving form by March 15, 2026 so Bethany Leadership can faithfully plan for the future of Bethany. Thank you for your commitment, generosity, and gifts.
