ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS

Contact Gayle for information.

CHILDREN’S CHURCH
Children in pre-school (3 years old) through 5th grade:  We are a church that wants children to be active in worship! This fall, we are starting Children’s Church; a time during our 10:00 am Creative Service just for Elementary School kids! Here’s how it works:
*Your children start in the Sanctuary with you
*After the Children’s Sermon, our High Schoolers lead them to Fellowship Hall for their activity which connects with the scripture and theme of the day
*Then, they rejoin you in the Sanctuary for the remainder of worship.

CAMP BETHANY
Children age 4-12 are invited to participate in CAMP BETHANY, an educational component of our Wednesday Night programming designed specifically for them! It begins with campfire, where a member of the Bethany community shares a story of our faith in a dynamic and engaging way. Then children are invited to further engage the story either through an arts and crafts activity or a low-ropes activity. It’s a taste of summer camp, every Wednesday night!

FAITH MILESTONES
Faith Milestones are stepping stones on our faith journey. Beginning at preschool, we walk our children/families through Luther’s Small Catechism. With our youth and adults, we wrap faith around pivotal life events. There will be opportunities on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings that we feature these faith milestones.

CONFIRMATION – MIDDLE SCHOOL
ACTIVITIES & EVENTS

Our confirmation program is for 6th-8th graders and covers 3 major themes over the course of the 3 year program:  Life of Faith, The Bible, and Catechism.

Each Confirmation Student concludes their formation experience with a Confirmation Project that is based on their spiritual gifts and personal passions.

Contact Bryan Jaster for more information.

HIGH SCHOOL ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS

Coffee Crew | Wednesdays 7:03pm
Our crew meets in groups of 10 or less this week with our favorite stories, snacks, games and learning moments together wearing masks and physically distanced. Join for highs, lows, God moments, donuts, coffee, and a community that lives and loves like Jesus.

Sunday Night Youth Group | Every other Sunday 7:03pm
We gather as community to learn and grow together in our walk of faith.  Join in for an evening of fun games, crazy stories, and engaging Bible Study.

Summer Camp
Bethany supports two GREAT summer camps in the area.  Every summer, large groups from Bethany attend the Senior High Camp offerings at Sky Ranch Lutheran Camp and Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp

Mission Trips
Each summer our high school youth take part in a summer Mission Trip to engage in a time of Service Learning.  Listen to Bryan Jaster’s podcast episode where he talks about Service Learning by clicking here.
